SWAYUP TO BE OFFERED FOR SALE

To dissolve the partnership of Messrs B. Dooley and W. A. Young, the Sir Galloway three-year-old Swayup will be put uo for sale by Pyne. Gould, Guinness Ltd., and. Wright, Stephenson and Company, Ltd., at the scraping sheds on the Riccarton racecourse on the morning of Thursday, June 15. The gelding, Tanganui (Siegfried—Lady Cherry) will also be offered.

Swayup made a quick rise into top flight company early this season. He easily won the John Grigg Stakes and led all the way to win the Dunedin Guineas, one mile, by a neck from Beaumaris, a reeprd-breaking stake winner this season. Swayup was narrowly beaten by the champion three-year-old filly. Sweet Spray, in the Stewards’ Handicap at Riccarton.
