BAGUIO CONFERENCE CONCLUDES
Discussion Of Problems Of South-East Asia RECOMMENDATIONS FOR FUTURE (N.Z. Press Association—Copyright) (Rec. 8 p.m.) MANILA, May 30. The text of a resolution adopted by the Baguio Conference on South-east Asia was released by the conference president. General Carlos Romulo, early this morning.
It authorises the president of the conference **to communicate the recommendations to the participating governments for their consideration and to keep them informed of the progress in relation to the recommendations.” General Romulo interpreted this to mean authorising some form of “continuing machinery.”
