SAPLING STAKES TRIALS
DRAW FOR HEATS The following is the draw for the qualifying trials for the New Zealand Sapling Stakes to be run on the second day of the Ashburton Trotting Club's meeting on June 5. The trials will be held at Ashburton on Tuesday, the first heat starting at 1 p.m.:— First heat: Pyrites, Safeguard. First Victory, Highland Light, Dealer’s Choice, Flying Pilot, Bleu Pietro, Adorian, Lauy French. Second heat: Spring Princess, Flagship, Taradale, Lady Balfour, Courser, Esquire, Radiant Night, Kapeen. Third heat: Wyvern, Moreto, Fairfield, Irish Orotor, Red Sable, Ohio, Prince Charming, Credit Chief.
