BOY’S DEATH IN BED
TWIN BROTHER DIES IN HOSPITAL (New Zealand Press Association} WELLINGTON. May 26. Twin boys four months old. the sons of Mr and Mrs Arthur Morrison, of Karori. died within a few hours of each other to-day. One boy died early in the morning at his home, and the other at the Wellington Hospital in the after-: noon. Both boys had last been fed at 19 p.m. on Thursday, and at midnight were still all right. At 5 a.m.. when one of the parents visited them, one was dead and the other was in a serious condition. Both had apparently been vomiting. The second boy was rushed to hospital. but resuscitation attempts failed. A four-year-old girl is the only remaining child in the family. TRUCK DRIVER KILLED CRUSHED BY LOGS WHEN VEHICLE HITS TREE (New Zealand Press Association} NELSON. May 26. Robert Neil Davie, aged 21, was killed when the heavy truck he was driving left the road in the Wai-iti valley and struck a tree, causing the load of logs to be thrown forward through the cab. Mr Davie came to Nelson two weeks ago from Timaru, where his parents live. He was employed by a sawmilling firm. INJURED CYCLIST IDENTIFIED A man who was injured in a collision between his bicycle and a car in Lowe street. Addington, on Thursday evening, and was admitted in an unconscious condition to the Christchurch Hospital at 10.50 p.m.. was identified yesterday as Mr Robert Clark. Mr Clark regained consciousness late last evening, and his condition was reported to be satisfactory. He is suffering from concussion.
