SPANISH SHIP SUNK
COLLISION OFF COAST
OF ENGLAND
(Rec. 11.45 p.m.) LONDON. May 26. The Spanish ship, Cabo Espartel. of 3712 tons, sank in 20 minutes early this morning after a collision with a ship, believed to be the Felspar, of Glasgow, off the south coast of England.
The Dungeness lifeboat took the Cabo Espartel’s crew of 37 off the Fulham, which had picked them up from their lifeboats.
The Spanish ship was on its way to Valencia from Antwerp with a cargo of ammonia.
