WOLF CUBS’ OUTING
One hundred and fifty Wolf Cubs, parents, and cub masters from the Ngaio-Matipo districts (comprising the Trafalgar, Terra Nova, Heathcote, Rapaki, Marist, St. Saviour’s, and Beckenham packs) took part in a father and son picnic at Diamond Harbour on Saturday. The Assistant-County Commissioner (Mr R. J. Moore) spoke to the fathers. After a scavenger hunt, .swimming, fishing, and cricket were arranged and a programme of sports was held. The pack relay was won by Marist. R. Harbott won the women cub mast rs’ race. J. Evans was second and P. Stevenson third.
