CANARY AND CAGE BIRD CLUB SHOW
A successful young and old bird show was held on Saturday in the Riccarton Town Hall by the Christohurch Canary and Cage Bird Club. There were 146 entries, the largest class being 18 adult green cock budgerigars of a high standard. The principal prize-winners were:— best young budgerigar, Mr L. Sullivan; best old budgerigar, Mr I. W. Coates; best bird in British and foreign sections, Mr L. Henry; best unflighted Norwich canary, Mrs A: Calvert: best opposite sex unflighted Norwich canary, Mr D. Myall.
