YACHTING
FROSTBITE TRIALS Good racing was seen on the estuary during the week-end, when races were sailed* to select the Canterbury representative for the New Zealand frostbite championship, J. Morrison winning three of the five races. Races were sailed under contest conditions, where the skipper sailed a different boat in each race. Results:—J. Morrison, 233, 1; G. Andrews, 20.1, 2; R. Byfield, 131, 3; W. Firth, 10. 4; M. Williams, 9, 5.
