TRUCKS DAMAGED BY FIRE
Five trucks, the property of the Government, were damaged when the single-storey wooden building in which they were kept, caught fire at the State Coal Department’s depot at 208 Moorhouse avenue early yesterday morning. One truck was badly damaged and the paintwork of the other four was slightly blistered. The interior of the building was also damaged. The Central Fire Brigade was called at 2.23 a.m. It is not known how the fire started.
