MISS HODGES BEATS MISS CHENEY

The form of players showed an improvement when the third round or tne New Zealand women’s golf championships was played at Otatara this morningEarly morning rain threatened to make conditions uncomfortable, but the weather was beautifully fine when play started. The elimination of the Victorian champion, Miss B. Cheney, by the rising young Auckland player, Miss R- C. Hodges, 3 and 4, was a feature of the play.
