RETURN OF ALL BLACKS
SOUTH ISLAND PLAYERS ARRIVE
With the exception of W. A. Meates, who will spend a few days at Palmerston North before visiting his parents at Greymouth. L. T. Savage, who returned to his home at Nelson, and J. C. Kearney and M. P. Goddard, who remained in Wellington, the South Island players in the All Blacks returned to Christchurch on Saturday. The party included R. R. Elvidge. N. L. Wilson. K. L. Skinner. L. R. Harvey. C. W. Willocks. J. R. McNab and P. A. Johnstone (Otago) and J. W. Goddard and L. A. Grant (South Canterbury). An informal welcome was extended the players by members of the Canterbury Rugby Union Management Committee and two New Zealand selectors. Messrs R. R. Masters and H. S. Strang, after which the nine All Blacks left for their homes in South Canterbury and Otago.
