EUROPE’S FOOD SUPPLY
VIEWS OF MEMBERS OF F.A.O. LONDON. October 12. The Rome correspondent of the Associated Press says that delegates to the meeting of 11 nations of the United Nations Food and Agriculture Organisation agreed to-day that Europe had -overcome the threat of famine, but faced new dangers of trade bottlenecks and food surpluses. The meeting is drafting a regional report for the organisation’s world conference in Washington next month.
