TOWN MILK TRICE AT FARM GATE
INCREASE ANNOUNCED (New Zealand Press Association.) WELLINGTON. October 13. The price to town milk producers for milk supplied at the farm gate has been fixed at 21.5614 d a gallon for the year from September 1, 1949, to August 31, 1950. The Minister of Marketing (Mr E. L. Cullen) said this price was a national average and represented an increase of I.loBBd over the price that operated for the first nine months of the last milk year.
