Sticking of Bills.— lmmediate action to remove bills advertising a circus and rodeo, which have been stuck about Christchurch, has been promised to the City Council. An official said that the bills had been placed around the city in ignorance of the by-laws which strictly controlled such advertising. When the promoters were warned, they agreed that “no expense would be spared” to remedy the position. Everyone considering any such form of advertising should consult the authorities first, the official added.
