CALEDONIAN SOCIETY’S COMPETITIONS

CHAMPIONSHIPS DECIDED The Canterbury Caledonian Society’s annual competitions were concluded last evening in the Caledonian Hall. The senior championship was won by Aeneas Chisholm with 342 points, and Norma Bird was the runner-up with 334 points. Laurel Watts, with 327 points, won the intermediate championship, and Josephine Pickens was the runner-up with 320 points. The junior championship was won by Isobel Russell with 319 points, and Jeanette Ellis, with 307 points, wafc the runner-up The following are the results of last evening’s events:— Highland Fling (1949 pupils).—Gordon Inglis 1, Averil Hensley 2, Marion Reed 3.
