BULK BUYING OF TEA OPPOSED
(Special Correspondent N.Z.P.A.) (Rec. 10 p.m.) LONDON. October 13. Ceylon s Minister of Trade and Commerce (Mr H. W. Amarasurya). who has been visiting London, said before his departure that he had told the British Ministry of Food that both Ceylon and British tea interests favoured the abolition of the present system of bulk tea buying. He advocated a return to the normal trading arrangements under which tea would be sold at the best price obtainable.
