♦ KUSSLEY LADIES’ CLUB The best scores in the L.G.U. match played by the Russley Ladies’ Club yesterday were:— Silver Division.—Mrs G. E. Sinclair, 92, 18—74; Mrs R. Vile. 91, 14—77. Bronze Division. —Mrs A. H. Flay, 104, 35 —69; Miss H. Hunter, 100, 30—70; Mrs G. Hampton, 100, 27—73. Miss H. Hunter won Mrs E. Hanna’s prize for the runnerup. In the final of the Knowles Cup, Mrs G. E. Sinclair beat Mrs T. Barnes, 4 and 3. WAITIKIRI LADIES’ CLUB An inter-club match played between the Avondale and Waitikiri Ladies’ Clubs, at Waitikiri, resulted in a win for the home team, 5 games to 4. Results were (Avondale names first): —Mrs Large lost to Mrs Bridgens, Miss Knowles beat Mrs Freeborn. Mrs Gunn beat Mrs Dymond, Mrs. McCabe halved with Miss Andrews, ivlrs Paton lost to Mrs Potts, Miss 800 l halved with Mrs Boon. Mrs Brown beat Mrs Royds, Miss Bonniface lost to Mrs Williamson, Mrs Claridge lost to Mrs Inglis, Mrs Birch lost to Mrs McKerrow, Miss Britton halved with Mrs Hinchliff, Miss , Wenmoth beat Mrs Edwards.
