Sir, —Having lived in Christchurch for most of my life I feel that I would like to say, with “Nearly Ninety” and others, that I have always thought that Victoria square is the ideal place for our town hall. All the most important trams and buses io and from the city pass that way. Could not some further thought be given to this before it is too late.—Yours, etc., LOVER OF BEAUTY. October 12, 1949.
