WOMEN’S DIVISION OF FEDERATED FARMERS
Harewood.—At the October meeting of the Harewood branch of the Women’s Division of Federated Farmers, Mrs H. Broadhurst presided. A letter from the Austrian boy sponsored by the branch was read. Mrs B. Watson gave an interesting talk on her travels in England. Final arrangements for a bring and buy stall, to be held this week, were made. Competition winners were as follows: jar apricots: Mesdames F. Broadhurst 1, Blair 2, Sharp 3; baby’s bootees: Mesdames Feutz 1, Hay ton 2, Collison 3; vase flowers: Mesdames Collison 1, Nunweek 2. Feutz 3; large bloom: Mesdames Hay ton 1, Preece 2, Nunweek 3: small bloom: Mesdames Preece 1, Collison 2, Feutz 3.
