FUNDS OF CITY MISSION
Though it was stated in a recent report that the City Mission held a credit balance of £2OBl, this figure referred to the excess of assets over liabilities, which included the value of th. mission buildings and furnishings only, said the Anglican City Missioned Captain Frank C. Pearce, of the Church Army, yesterday. The actual cash in hand available for the work of the St. Martins House of Help and Young Men’s Guest House, for young apprentices, was not large, and was barely sufficient for one month of normal activity.
