Rural Week Cancelled —A projected district high schools’ rural week, which was to have been held in Christchurch during show week, has been cancelled because of the projected absence of the chief agricultural instructor in Christchurch (Mr S. A. la Roche). Band Contest in 1951.— The Dominion Pipe Bands' Association will hold its annual contest at the Show Grounds on March 2. 3. 4, and 5, 1951.
