Grass Fire.— Units from the Christchurch Fire Brigade answered a call at 3.1 p.m. yesterday to a grass fir? which broke out on a property in Bay View road, Redcliffs. The fire is believed to have started from a spark from a rubbish fire. The grass was fairly dry and the fire swept through the padduck quickly. No serious damage was done.
