TOWARDS A MODERN RELIGION
Sir, — On one occasion the Lord Jesus was asked what was the most important commandment. Here is His reply: “Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy souL and with all thy mind.” Those who keep, in some small measure, this first commandment, are called Christians. Those who do not have no right at all to that glorious name. Why do modernists so continually stress the second command of Jesus and forget the first? —Yours, etc., OLD OLD STORY. September 30, 1949.
