(From Our Parliamentary Reporter.) WELLINGTON. August 9. “Is the wheat so dirty that the union’s claim is just and, if that is so, what will be its use in New Zealand?” asked Mr W. H. Gillespie (Opposition. Hurunui) in a notice •of question to the Minister of Industries and Commerce (Mr A. H. Nordmeyer) in the House of Representatives today when he* referred to the statement that the Auckland Drivers’ Union had demanded 6d an hour dirt money for carrying Australian wheat unloaded by grab from the British freighter Glenpark. Mr Gillespie also asked whether the shipment was part of the Australian wheat contracted for and costing 15s a bushel.
