RESIGNATION ACCEPTED BY PARTY
(New Zealand Press Association.) WELLINGTON, August 9.
The national secretary of the Labour Party (Mr A. J. McDonald), after a meeting of the national executive of the party to-day, said the resignation of Mr Frank Langstone, M.P., Roskill, as a member of the Labour Party, had been accepted, as had the withdrawal of Mr H. G. Kilpatrick, who’ had been selected as Labour candidate for Hurunui. Consideration of the selection of candidates for both Hurunui and Roskill would be decided at an early date.
