ARMY COMMANDER URGES PRECAUTIONS (Rec. 7 p.m.) STOCKHOLM, July 17. “A small but dangerous group of Swedes, who have sworn allegiance to a foreign Power, would be a menace to Swedish freedom in the event of war.” said General Victor Jung. Commander-in-Chief of the Swedish Armed Forces, in a speech to-day. General Jung added that effective measures must be taken in time to neutralise “the destructive activities of this fifth column.”
