CACTUS AND SUCCULENT SOCIETY
New members were enrolled at a meeting of the Christchurch branch of the New Zealand Cactus and Succulent Society held in the Christchurch Botanic Gardens. The chairman (Mr F. L. Drury) gave an address, in which he described the differences between cactus and succulent plants. Mr D. Silcock also addressed members on many of the plants which could be grown successfully outside, even on the flat parts of Christchurch.
