Sandy’s Epic’s strong finishing run, which carried him into third place in the Tahuna Handicap a. the Forbury Park Trotting Club’s meeting last week, has brought him into favour for the Navy Handicap, the ope"ing event on the programme for the Wellington Trotting Club’s winter meeting at Hutt Park to-day. A place-getter in three of his last five races, Sandy’s Epic may meet most opposition from Lillian Mac, which was successful at the Cambridge and Waikato meetings, and from Rising Monarch, a winner at Hutt Park on March 26.
