N.Z.-MADE EGG PULP
BAKERS COMPLAIN ABOUT QUALITY (New Zealand Press Association.) AUCKLAND, May 5. The quality of New Zealand-made egg pulp supplied to the baking trade was criticised at the annual conference of the New- Zealand Federation of Bakers and Pastrycooks. It was stated by one member that his firm had found that almost every third tin of New Zealand pulp was unfit for human consumption and had to be destroyed.. Instances were quoted where foreign matter of an objectionable nature had been found in the pulp. It was decided to make representations through the council of the federation to the authorities for improvements in the preparation and distribution of the pulp.
