INSURANCE SCHEME FOR PLAYERS
(New Zealand Press Association.) WELLINGTON, May 5. The New Zealand Rugby Union will investigate the practicability of instituting an insurance scheme to cover accidents in which players suffer the loss of an eye or a limb, or are injured permanently. Mr S. S. Dean (Hawke’s Bay), I speaking as chairman of the Underwriters’ Association, promised that his association would submit a scheme.
