HOCKEY
GRANT FOR WILLIAMSON PARK Information had been received from the Department of Internal Affairs confirming the grant of £5OO towards the Williamson hockey park scheme, it was reported to a meeting of delegates to the Canterbury Hockey Association. In spite of the prolonged spell of dry weather, the growth of grass at the park had been excellent, it was reported.
