ACCIDENTS
DRIVER OF DIESEL SHOVEL KILLED
MACHINE GOES OVER BANK (New Zealand Press Association.) WAIROA, April 20. Ritchie Thompson, aged 41. died last night in the Wairoa Hospital as a result of injuries he • received in the afternoon when a Diesel shovel he was driving got out of control going up a hill. The machine ran backwards and went over,a bank, pinning Mr Thompson underneath.
