BAND CONTEST RESULTS
Sir,—ln regard to Mr Skeddden’s reply, those who regard the Dominion band contest as an extremely important event will agree with me that the National Broadcasting Service failed utterly to realise its importance. Of course, we all know that news of horse racing must have priority over all other subjects. All the same’, musical events and all other matters of a more elevating nature should have their due share of publicity.—Yours, etc.. O. M. BRUNDALL. February 27. 1949.
