KIRWEE SUB-CENTRE OF RED CROSS SOCIETY
Mrs G. R. Bedford presided at a meeting of the Kirwee sub-centre of the Red Cross Society. Members made many garments to hand in for dispatch overseas. It was reported that during the month a quantity of fat had been handed in, some for soap and some edible fat to be sent to Britain. A letter was read from a grateful recipient in England acknowledging a clothing parcel. It was decided to hold the annual meeting early in March, when there will be a bring-and-buy sale. •
