GALA AT FENDALTON PARK

A fair in aid of the Fendalton branch of the Plunket Society, the Fendalton Boy Scouts, and the Fendalton Bowling Club, was opened at Fendalton Park on Saturday by Mr J. T. Watts. M.P. The St. Andrew’s College pipe band played during ths day, and Miss Valda Brown’s dancing pupils gave a display. There was a decorated bicycle competition and pony rides for the children. In spite of other attractions during the day about 1400 people attended.
