Mr Justice Northcroft will leave today for Greymouth to preside at a sitting of the Supreme Court there. He will return to Christchurch on Thursday. Dr. C. L. Tucker, son of Mr and Mrs E. J. Tucker. Ashburton, has been appointed surgical registrar of the orthopaedic and accident service of the Derbyshire Royal Infirmary. Mr Albert Bryant, who has been organist and choirmaster at the Cathedral Church of St. Paul. Wellington, for the last five years, yesterday tendered his resignation to accept a similar position in September at St. Peter’s Cathedral, Hamilton.— (P.A.) Mr M. F. O’Brien has been elected chairman of the footwear manufacturing trade group of the Canterbury Manufacturers’ Association. The Rev. A. J. Templeton, who has been interim minister at the Moorhouse Avenue Church of Christ, will leave to take up an appointment in the Wanganui Church. The Rev. A. W. Grundy will begin his ministry at the Moorhouse Avenue Church on March 6.
