GIRLS’ HIGH SCHOOL
The annual general meeting of the Christchurch Girls’ High School Par-ertt-Teacher Association was held recently. when the activities of a successful year were reviewed by the chairman, who commented on the increased membership and larger numbers at the monthly meetings. The election of < cers resulted:— president, Mr L. T. Woodward- vicepresidents, Mrs G. E. i.iathieson and Mr E. R. Blanchard: honorary treasurer, Mr R. Owen; honorary secretary, Mrs R. S. W. Owen; committee, Mesdames R. E. Bates, S. Firth, B. I Hodder. F. W. Pitcher. D. M. Tavlor, and F. A. Wicks. Messrs G. G. Graham. RT. H. Haydon. G. E. Mathieson. C. M. Nicholas, and B. H. Stephens; representative of “Acland” parents. Mrs B. D. Watson; staff representatives. Mrs G. N. Ferner and Miss N. Dowthwaite.
