The main results to-day, when games, were played in light rain, were:— Open Championship.—Final: W. H. Kirk (Geraldine) beat H. N. Darby (Aorangi), 26-9, 26-10. B Grade Button.—Final: Miss Rosemary Kirk (Geraldine) beat Mrs H. Tulley (Timaru), 26-19. Level Singles (Kirk Cup).—Final: Mrs W. McHerron (Westport) beat Mrs J. Jones (Westport), 26-14, 26-14. Championship Doubles.—Final: Mesdames L. Stockdale and H. J. French (United) beat Mesdames G. Metcalf (St. Clair) and D. Austin (Punga), 26-13. Women’s Championship Singles.—First life, final: Mrs J. Jones (Westport) beat Mrs M. Marriott (Opawa), 26-11. Second life, semi-final: Mrs D. Austin (Punga) beat Mrs E. Queree (Timaru), 26-15. TOURNAMENT OF WEST COAST ASSOCIATION Play in the West Coast Croquet Association's annual tournament was continued yesterday at Greymouth in showery, weather. Results were as follows: Handicap Doubles.—Second round: Mesdames Nicholls (Christchurch) and Pring (Greymouth) beat Mesdames Nottle and Slee (Westport), 26-24. Championship Doubles.—First round: Mesdames Martin and Bull (Christchurchl beat Mesdames Hosking and Dickie (Christchurch), 26-22.
