Fannings were irregular and sometimes lower, otherwise the demand was strong and prices firm, with best pekoes and good medium brokens dearer. High-grown broken orange pekoes realised 213 cents per lb, medium liquoring broken orange pekoes, 160 cents; medium liquoring orange pekoes, 164 cents; low medium broken orange pekoes. 153 cents; and low medium dust, 157 cents per lb.
