SCREEN AND CURTAIN
Sir,—Next Sunday night a Christchurch theatre is showing a Russian youth film, presumably propaganda. This fact shows the freedom of our democracy. Would a similar British film be allowed in Russia? I think not. Those who enjoy the privilege and freedom of our way of life in the British Empire should be loyal to it and uphold it or depart.—Yours, etc., LOYALIST. February 21, 1949.
