SPRINGFIELD ROAD BUS
Sir, —The change in the above bus route has not proved a success. Observers state that very few of the people in the area to the east of Rutland street are patronising the new service. It has to be remembered that the old service along Bretts road has given satisfaction for many years and has had the full support of the residents. Now that they have only an inward service every 40 minutes the majority have had to make other arrangements. There are scores of disgruntled people who consider that they have been badly treated. It is time that the Tramway Board took a more realistic view and considered the welfare of its patrons.—Yours, etc., „ , J. K. MOLONEY. February 21, 1949.
