By his greater height and reach, as well as superior boxing ability, Laurie Petersen (Australia), 10ft 3Jlb, took a points decision from Clarrie Gordon (New Zealand), lOst 3|lb, in a 12-round professional boxing contest at Petone on Saturday, before a crowd of Sbout 1500.
