(P.A.) HAMILTON, February 20. Unaccustomed to grass tracks, the Australian cyclists, K. Reynolds and S. Paterson, both pulled out of their respective heats in the open mile handicap at Hamilton because of incorrect gearing on their machines. In the invitation races they had their gears corrected, and Paterson won the two miles, from scratch, easily in smin 33 4-ssec. He also won the 220 yards sprint match race by taking the first two events in 16 2-ssec and 16 3-10 sec respectively. Reynolds withdrew from the two miles after four laps. _
