ASSOCIATION FOOTBALL

TECHNICAL CLUB’S MEETING The annual meeting of the Christchurch Technical College Old Boys’ Association Football Club was held this week. Mr C. Sanderson presided over a large attendance. The club elected Dr. D. E. Hansen a life member in recognition of the service he has rendered the club while Principal of the Technical College. The president said that the club, by winning the Chatham Cup, had become the champion club of New Zealand. The club had also won the fourth, fifth, and sixth grade competitions. It was decided to open the season on April 2. The election of officers resulted:—patron, Dr. D. E. Hansen; . president, Mr C. Sanderson; 19 vice-presidents; club captain, Mr’V. Sanderson; nominee management committee Canterbury Football Association, Mr C. G. Frew; honorary auditor, Mr C. Sanderson; emergency committee, Messrs I. Clarke, K. Lucas, A. C. Porter, and E.
