The Paper Slipper horse ran on gamely, however, for third, a length ahead of Banshee, and his performance indicated a return to the winning list in the near future. Retired to Stud . Torrent, which broke down in the Wellington Cup, has been retired to her owner’s stud at Levin and will be mated with Milling next season. -She is by Tiderace from Lady Derby, a sister to Howe.
