SHIRLEY METHODIST CHURCH
The Rev. J. B. Dawson presided over the annual meeting of the members of the Shirley Methodist Church. The following officers were elected:— society stewards, Messrs E. Burn, S. Collins, G. M. Nuttall, J. Salkeld, T. H. Turner, and H. Thomas; sacramental stewards, Mrs F. J. Holland and Miss J. Palk;. representatives of congregation to quarterly meeting, Mesdames O. Cummack, T. H. Turner, and Miss K. Moore; associate stewards, Messrs I. Fowler. L. Kington, R. Marks. T. Marks, I. McEwan, H; B. Moore, and J. Yarr; minister’s stewards, Messrs C. P. Moore and G. H. Rogerson; overseas mission secretary, Mrs R. Hawick; home missions secretary. Miss K. Moore: orphanage secretaries, Mrs A. W. Emmett and Mrs T. H. Turner.
