Sir, —Bishop Bennett has all my sympathy in his concern for the Maori peoples. We know too well what drink has done to thousands of white men and women and I have only to warn those who are trying to pump liquor into the King Country to take heed. —Yours, etc., ASHAMED. December 13, 1948.
