The water polo competition of the Canterbury Swimming Centre was continued in the tepid baths last evening. Results: Senior.—Spreydon A beat Somerfield, 6-1; East Christchurch beat Christchurch, 3-2; Spreydon B beat ChristchurchUnited 5-1.
Junior.—East Christchurch beat Somerfield, 4-0; Elmwood beat Phillipstown, 4-0; Spreydon A beat Spreydon B, 1-0. Competition points after the first round are as follows:—Senior: Spreydon A 8, East Christchurch 6, Spreydon B 4. Christchurch 2, Somerfield 0. Junior: Elmwood 8. Spreydon A 7, Christchurch 5, Phillipstown 5, East Christchurch 5, Spreydon B 0, Somerfield 0.
