Concern For Health OfJUng ANNOUNCEMENT BY MR NASH (From Our Parliamentary Reporter.) WELLINGTON, Nov. 23. The postponement of the Royal tour on the advice of the King’s doctors, was anriqunced at 1.30 p.m. to-day by the Acting-Prime Minister (Mr Nash). The news came as a complete surprise in Wellington. Until the announcement by Mr Nash the staffs of Government departments in Wellington were working as they had been for months on the arrangements for the tour. Although it was known an hour or so before that Mr Nash was to make an important statement, the information came as a shock to members of Parliament. The House of Representatives was quick to express its concern at the news of the King’s health, and its disappointment that the tour was postponed. The hope was expressed that the tour would be made possible soon. Messages were read to the House from the Prime Minister (Mr Fraser) and from the deputy of the GovernorGeneral (Sir Humphrey O’Leary). Mr Nash read the Buckingham Palace announcement and the medical bulletin.
