JUGOSLAVS FROM N.Z.
—« —_ TREATMENT IN HOMELAND “ ALLEGATIONS WITHOUT FOUNDATION ” (P.A.) AUCKLAND. Sept. 24. The return of New Zealand JugoSlavs to Jugoslavia was purely voluntary, said a statement to-day by the executive of the Auckland Jugoslav Association. The secretary (Mr T. Jelicich) said that in the executive’s opinion statements attributed to socalled prominent Jugoslavs about reprisals and “black lists” were without foundation, and could only create unnecessary alarm. i Mr Jelicich added that no lists of names had ever been sent to Jugoslavia as far as his association was aware. It would most certainly oppose any such action.
